FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy of aluminium alloys containing metals that are almost not soluble in hard aluminium: iron, nickel, cobalt, rare-earth metals, yttrium, and it is intended for manufacture of electrical current conductors in the form of wire with diameter of 0.1-0.3 mm, which are operated at increased temperatures up to 250°C. A method for manufacturing multi-layered wire consisting of a core from aluminium alloy and clad metal layers involves manufacture of the core workpiece from alloy Al - 8% Ce by cooling of liquid alloy at the rate of 0.2-0.8°C/s to the temperature below the temperature of its complete freezing, heating to the casting temperature of 720±10°C at the rate equal to or higher than 0.2°C/s and casting of an ingot with a diameter of 50-100 mm at the rate of 0.001-0.005 m/s at creation in a pit of the ingot of intensive circular movement of the melt, subsequent application onto the core workpiece of concentric layers of copper and silver and pressing of the obtained three-layered workpiece into a rod that is subject to drawing so that wire with diameter of 0.1-0.3 mm is obtained.
EFFECT: improvement of wire soldering quality, specific electrical conductivity and stability of mechanical properties at the working temperature of up to 250°C.
