SUBSTANCE: digital phase detector can be used in designing both multipurpose phase meters, universal phase-locked-loop frequency control devices and special-purpose time parameter control devices. The digital phase detector comprises four D flip-flops, as well as OR and XOR logic elements.
EFFECT: high efficiency of a digital phase detector by eliminating an error associated with violation of the order of arrival of information pulses.
