FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of polynitrocompounds, namely to bis(fluorodinitromethyl-ONN-azoxyfurazanyl)furoxane of formula (I)
and to a method of its obtaining. The method is realised by the nitration of bis(nitromethyl-ONN-azoxyfurazanyl)furoxane of formula (II)
with a mixture of concentrated nitric acid (HNO3) and nitrogen tetraoxide (N2O4), taken in a volume ratio of 2:1, respectively, with the following processing of the obtained bis(dinitromethyl-ONN-azoxyfurazanyl)furoxane with potassium hydroxide. A dipotassium salt formed in the process is subjected to interaction with xenone difluoride.
EFFECT: high energy potential, intended for application as a powerful fusible explosive substance or a fusible base for powerful moulding explosive substances.
