FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: test bench for research and finalising works to assess the influence of the external action of rain on vehicle vibroacoustics comprises a rain simulation installation consisting of four height-adjustable telescopic poles with a sprinkling device mounted on them, a water supplying device with a flow meter and shutoff valves, measuring and analysing vibroacoustic devices mounted inside the vehicle being tested which is placed under the sprinkling device. The sprinkling device is made as an open casing with a bottom perforated by through holes. The rain simulation installation can be moved by wheels with a stopper which are mounted on adjustable telescopic poles. The walls of the sprinkling device open casing are formed by interconnected profiled plates with angular and Z-shaped sections. The bottom of the open casing perforated by the through holes is made as a removable panel.

EFFECT: improved quality of research and finalising works due to the implementation of the possibility to assess the influence of the rain external action on the vibroacoustic comfort in conditions of the free sound field of the environment.
