FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique for study of noise emission sources from vehicles. Stand for acoustic tests of the power steering contained in a vehicle contains semi-anechoic, with sound-reflecting floor, test chamber, running dynamometric drums mounted on a vibration-insulated installation base and located with a partial protrusion of their radial surface above the floor surface, groove guides formed in the floor of a test chamber, as well as support pads, formed with the possibility of their installation for the period of testing, at least under the steered wheels. Each of the support pads is made with the possibility of its fixation in the mortise guides of the floor of the semi-anechoic chamber and contains a frame, vibration-insulating substrate and frame filler. Frame of any of the support pads is made in the form of a metal box, rectangular in plan, provided with a means of fixing a support pad in the mortise guides of the floor of the semi-anechoic chamber. Vibration-insulating substrate is made in the form of a lining fixed on the frame surface from the floor of the semi-anechoic chamber. Frame filler is made in the form of a hardened asphalt-concrete mixture with a residual porosity of not more than 8 %, the surface of which is turned to the wheels with roughness and with a slope in accordance with the requirements of standards for vehicle noise testing.
EFFECT: qualitative assessment of vibroacoustic characteristics and the impact on the vibroacoustic comfort in a passenger compartment is provided.
