FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device for teeth machining of cylindrical wheels contains cutting head comprising two half-heads installed on the cylindrical mandrel with possibility of their axial movements, and drive worm screw. The half-heads from the internal sides are made with hubs having male thread surfaces with different directions, that are interfaced with the internal opposite directed thread surfaces of the worm screw.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of teeth machining of the cylindrical wheels as per length of common normal due to distance control between the cutters of two half-heads.
