FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device to compensate dimensional wear and tear of tool for machining of the cylindrical gearwheels, made in form of double-row cutting head, contains two half-heads, spring loaded in axial direction by two resilient elements, and is installed on the rotating mandrel. Between the half-heads two chamfered disks are installed, between them the wedge plate having two holes is installed. In top hole the rotating round eccentric is located, and by bottom hole the plate envelopes the rotating mandrel with clearance. Two resilient elements are made in form of springs and are installed at external sides of the half-heads.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of teeth machining of cylindrical gearwheels.
