FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: described is combined method of obtaining alkylene oxide and alkylene glycols. For this purpose device for obtaining alkylene oxide and device for obtaining alkylene glycols are combined with each other, water, produced in device for obtaining alkylene oxide and other components of reaction mixture are supplied into device for obtaining alkylene glycols. As a result, alkylene glycol, formed in device for obtaining alkylene oxide, can be obtained as valuable substance, with elimination of water recirculation or its considerable reduction in device for obtaining alkylene glycols. In addition, it is possible to eliminate energy-consuming processing of technological water from device for obtaining alkylene oxide.
EFFECT: combination of both methods results in improvement of energy efficiency and to saving resources in processing of technological residues.
