SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to drug delivery devices. The drug delivery device comprises a dose setting mechanism. The dose setting mechanism comprises first lock members of highest dose setting on a first component of the drug delivery device, mated second lock members of highest dose setting on a second component of the drug delivery device, and a highest dose limiting device. The first and second lock members of highest dose setting are configured to limit a relative rotary movement between the first and second components. The highest dose limiting is determined by the first and second lock elements of highest dose setting rotary movable towards each other and coming into contact as the highest dose achieved. The highest dose limiting device represents a highest dose limiting cuff. The highest dose limiting device is arranged on the first component between the first and second lock members of highest dose setting and has coupling elements at the first end mated with the first lock members of highest dose setting, as well as the replicate lock member at the second end reproducing the above first lock members of highest dose setting.
EFFECT: advantage of the invention consists in particular in simplifying the process of production or reducing the production costs.
