FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixers of various thick and loose materials to get a finished homogeneous bulk. It can be used in powder metallurgy, machine building, medicine, agriculture, oil industry, etc, where mixing of powders, pellets, fluids, solutions and varnish-and-paint materials is required. This mixer consists of the case composed of container to house components to be mixed and rotary cover articulated with said container, motor and single-row planetary mechanism being fitted in said cover. Said motor is articulated with working member via planetary single-row mechanism. The latter consists of central wheel, fixed rim, pinions sliding on planet carrier and engaged with said central wheel. Planet carrier is fitted on hollow shaft of drive rod and rigidly engaged therewith, drive rod being articulated via con rod with working member. The latter is articulated with drive crank fitted on the shaft articulated with aforesaid motor. Working tool is composed of vaned mixers. For rotary-planetary motion of working member drive crank length should equal the length of con rod while for swinging-planetary motion drive crank length should be smaller than that of con rod. For multimode operation said motor should be provided with computer-controlled frequency inverter.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability, intensity and quality of mixing.
