SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to designing a data medium or a group of such data media, which enable accurate correlation of information, to the use of such data media, as well as to the designing of a reading device, through which the data medium, owing to its structured information layer, can be associated with an action of a data processing system or can trigger such an action. The present invention relates to the designing of a system of playing cards, which studies unique playing characteristics of players and enables to process other game-related data, wherein said system uses playing cards and/or collectors' cards through both the Internet (online) and a local data processing system (offline); therefore, the present invention relates to a particularly preferable version of combining a classic commercial game of cards with a computer and video games. In particular, the present invention can also preferably be used as a system for accessing cards and debit cards for gaming systems, in which a data medium with a unique code, which is read by a reading device, is used.

EFFECT: obtaining a flat data medium with a clear purpose, which enables to introduce additional optical functions depending on the choice of purpose.
