FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to heavy-current pulse engineering and may be used as the secondary power source to supply loads. According to the invention, through in-series inductive energy storage, the primary power supply source and switch of an electric circuit pumping current of the inductive energy storage is passed and upon reaching of the preset value for pumping current the common circuit is opened by the switch and pulse of opening extra-current is fed to the load, at that in order to increase ratio of opening extra-current energy to pumping current energy of the primary power supply source the electric circuit is made with active resistance and inductance of the storage with such rated values, at which duration of pumping current is less than response time of the inductive energy storage per a preset value.
