FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of measurement of pressure in an underground formation containing the fluid medium which comprises the following consecutive stages: establishing of possibility of fluid medium transfer between the test chamber located in a borehole and an underground formation by means of the line pipeline, movement of the piston in the test camera so that to pump the fluid medium into the test camera, providing isolation of the fluid medium in the test chamber with reference to the line pipeline, measurement of pressure in the line pipeline and recurrence of previous stages. The invention also relates to the device for measurement of pressure in the underground formation containing the fluid medium configured for execution of the named method.

EFFECT: measurement of pressure in an underground formation by a faster, simple and reliable method.
