FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. A surgical instrument assembly comprises a case, a cutting element and a medication cartridge. The cutting element is movable in relation to the body and comprises a cutting surface, a body accommodating the first surface, and a groove at least partially limited by the first surface. The medication cartridge is attached to the case and has a cavity that is able to contain a medication. The groove of the cutting element is fluid-connected to the cavity. The groove is configured to deliver the medication from the cavity arranged in a closed proximity from the cutting surface.
EFFECT: assembly ensures delivering the medication to the cutting surface of the cutting element directly.
