FIELD: metallurgy, possibly three-high finishing stands. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of rolling in lower and upper levels between upper and lower rolls twisted in vertical plane; counterbending strip according to passes at mutual balancing of axial efforts occurred on different portions of roll barrel due to profiling all three rolls in such a way that they have mean cone portions of opposite directions and double conicity of non-driven roll relative to driven rolls and along edges of rolled strip with opposite direction of conicity towards adjacent zones of mean portion of rolls. Parameters of equipment used for performing the method are normalized. EFFECT: lowered cross thickness difference, improved quality of sheets, enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
