FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine building, and can be used during manufacturing of the structural elements of elevators, in particular devices for ropes or wires securing upon connection with cabins or cages. In accordance with one option of manufacturing of the cartridge of the device for rope securing out of pipe blank by the radial forging the forging is made comprising cone parts of set length. From the forging the cone part is separated, and machining of the internal cone is made. The cone part shape is changed with creation of the ellipse-like cross-section. By the machining the window for the wedge installation and removal, as well as connecting pad are made. In accordance with the second option of manufacturing the pipe section with set length is changed in shape by the rotation swaging and rotation drawing with creation of the cone forging. The shape of the forging is changed with creation of the ellipse-like cross-section, and by machining the window for wedge and connecting pad are made.

EFFECT: reduced labour intensity of the cartridge manufacturing.
