FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: continuous action drum screen contains a screening surface located between end face jaws, a drive, loading and unloading pins. The screening surface is implemented in the form of a punched cylinder installed at an angle with reference to the horizontal axis of rotation with flat punched end face elliptic walls. They are arranged at various angles to the axis of rotation and to each other. Axes of larger diameters of ellipses of the punched end face walls are parallel or can be rotated around the axis of rotation of the screening surface with reference to each other. Along the total length of the screening surface on its axis of rotation the conic spring with flat cross section of turns is mounted. This spring is fitted with the device for changing of coil pitch by its extension or contraction. The conic spring is mounted in such a way that its small diameter is located in the loading pin, and its larger diameter is mounted at the unloading pin. Thus the possibility of removal of finer fractions outside the punched screening surface, and coarse fractions - from the drum screen by means of the unloading device in the form of unloading pin is provided.
EFFECT: expansion of technological capabilities of the device.
