FIELD: blasting operations.
SUBSTANCE: pyromechanical separation system consists of an annular charging chamber, a thrown annular piston, an elongated charge of detonating explosive arranged along the axis of that charging chamber, labyrinth-type obturators and shear pins. Elements of tubular ballistite powder and/or mixed solid propellant in the form of single-channel cartridges and/or plates are inserted tightly in the cavity of the charging chamber throughout its length. Elongated charge of detonating explosive is arranged on the channel axis of those elements with a gap between housing of elongated charge and arch of powder and/or fuel element, or a cap with grained or pyroxiline powder, and/or powder of small arms, and/or black powder is inserted tightly in the cavity of the charging chamber throughout its length. Separation and throwing of heavy bodies weighing several tens of kilograms with speeds of about 20-40 m/s and with the strictly specified speed vector is performed.
EFFECT: improvement of the system.
