SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in industry for the waste wood conversion. the charcoal kiln contains a casing (1), gas channel (3), combustion chamber (2) installed under the gas channel (3), nozzle (14) with air duct (15) cut in the branch pipe (7), connected to the combustion chamber (2), at least two tight retorts (4) for raw wood, located along the perimeter of the gas channel (3), each retort has loading door (16), and they are connected with the casing (1) by the through channel (5) intended for gases flow. The gas channel (3) is made by cavity of the kiln casing (1) enveloping at least two tight retorts (4), having at tip the branch pipes (12) for vapours and gases discharge with breechblocks (13) installed after the external surface of the casing (1). The through channel (5) has sealing system containing interfacing assembly as per "slot-stub" diagram, as per it the free end of the branch (6) secured to the tight retort (4) at the base, is made in form of the stub (10), and free end of the branch (7) secured to the combustion chamber (2) is made in form of slot (9).
EFFECT: invention increases ecological safety of the charcoal kiln.
