FIELD: wood industry.
SUBSTANCE: plant for charcoal production includes a pyrolysis module 1 and a retort cooling module 6. The pyrolysis module 1 represents a body 2, where a furnace unit 3 is installed, as well as the pyrolysis unit 4, equipped with cells for retort cooling, and a unit of effluent gases 5. The retort cooling module 6 is a horizontally aligned body with fire-resistant end and side walls, separated vertically with aligned fire-resistant partitions into cells for installation of retorts, equipped with a smoke exhaust. There are channels of cooling atmospheric air supply into cells and channels of heated air exhaust in walls and partitions of the retort cooling module body.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to ensure controlled production cycle, which is thermally regulated, to produce high-quality charcoal, and to avoid buckling of retort metal and to increase equipment durability.
