FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of obtaining thioindigoid dyes, widely applied for colouration of textile and polymer materials. Essence of invention consists in the fact that as catalyst of oxidation of non-substituted or substituted benzo[b]thiophenone-3 or naphtho[2,3-b]thiophenone-3 with air oxygen in water-alkali medium used is dichlorodisulphonic acid of cobalt phthalocyanine or its salt of formula [CoPC]Cl2(SO3)2 2-2Cat+, where Cat+ = H+, Na+, K+, NH4 +, [HN(CH2CH2OH)3]+. The process is carried out in presence of sodium salt of dialkyl ether of sulphosuccinic acid, where alkyl R = C4H9, C8H17, C9H19.
EFFECT: claimed method is universal, low-waste and highly-productive for obtaining thioindigoid dyes and pigments.
