FIELD: fire-fighting means.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite fire-fighting means, in particular to powder microencapsulated extinguishing agents, extinguishing materials and coatings containing the extinguishing agent in the form of microcapsules designed for extinguishing fires without human input of classes A, B, C and E in remote fire hazardous places such as cable passages, raised floors, ceiling voids and other closed local spaces, as well as to protect the tanks and containers intended for storage and transportation of fire hazardous products and other fire hazardous objects. The microencapsulated extinguishing agent comprises a microcapsule composed of spherical polymeric shell and a core of fire-extinguishing liquid, at that the shell comprises an additional outer layer which has a maximum absorption coefficient of radiant energy for this type of coating. The additional coating is applied at the final stage of formation of the microcapsule by colouring the shell black. The proposal provides increase in efficiency of operation of the extinguishing agent by increasing the absorption capacity of the additional outer layer of the microcapsule shell.
EFFECT: extinguishing agent is effective, easy in operation and storage, has good compatibility, ie it is easily mixed with the resins, liquid rubbers and other curable polymeric matrices to obtain extinguishing composite materials, and can be used, for example, in the form of pastes, plates, films, articles, and also paints, fabrics and other articles.
