SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to autonomous fire extinguishing means, namely, to polymer composite materials containing a fire extinguishing agent in the form of microcapsules and designed to create fire extinguishing devices that do not require the use of automation equipment and human participation. The microencapsulated fire extinguishing agent with thermal stability contains microcapsules with a core of fire extinguishing agent placed inside a spherical polymer shell. A layer of amphiphilic fluorine-containing compounds is formed on the surface of the polymer shell. Upon receipt of the specified microencapsulated fire extinguishing agent, microcapsules are dispersed into a dispersion medium, into which a solution of amphiphilic macromolecules is introduced, followed by mixing of the resulting system. The processed microcapsules are isolated from the dispersion medium with their subsequent drying. The fire extinguishing product contains said microencapsulated fire extinguishing agent with thermal stability.

EFFECT: obtaining a microencapsulated fire-extinguishing agent with increased thermal stability, providing high efficiency of fire-extinguishing products based on it, increasing the limiting temperature of their operation and increasing the warranty period of storage of microcapsules.
