SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for limited angle tomography. This invention comprises the following steps: obtaining limited angle tomography projection data p of an object O (S1), wherein the projection data p describe N projections of the object O, wherein the radiating source moves relative the detector when receiving data p of projections, applying a filter operator X to the limited angle tomography projection data p to generate filtered projection data Xp (S2), wherein Xp describe N filtered projections of the object O and wherein each filtered projection is calculated from all N projections of the data p, and calculating a back projection of the filtered projection data Xp using a back projection operator B to generate a reconstructed image B(Xp) (S3).
EFFECT: technical result: to provide high quality of images using incomplete data p projections.
