FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measurement of radiation intensity of radionuclide inside object through multifissure collimator 7 by strip detector 9 mounted beside collimator output, with collimator input oriented towards object 12, at various angular positions of collimator-detector system 11 against object, and obtainment of radiation intensity data set similar to computer tomography, with further application of reconstruction algorithm to data set and visualisation of reconstruction result. Device includes fissure collimator 7 with input oriented toward object 12 under examination, radiation intensity strip detector 9 mounted at collimator output, first rotation device 15 for detector-collimator system rotation around longitudinal axis 14 of object under examination, second rotation device 16 for detector-collimator system 11 rotation around axis 25 perpendicular to longitudinal axis of object under examination, measurement device 18 for output signals of radiation intensity strip detector, measurement data storage and processing device (22, 20) and processing result visualisation device 21.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of reconstruction of radioactive source distribution inside examined object, or reduced examination time or inserted radionuclide.
