FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: protection device contains the first and the second current relay, respectively connected to secondary windings of the first and the second current transformers the primary windings of which are connected to the break of phases A and C of the connection. The timing relay is connected to the first and the second current relay. The output relay input is connected to the timing relay, and the output is connected to the switch tripping circuit. The primary winding of the third current transformer is connected into the break of the phase B. The zero sequence current transformer encloses the cable. The first current-to-voltage converter is connected to the break of zero wire of the first, the second and the third current transformers. The second current-to-voltage converter is connected to the secondary winding of the zero sequence current transformer. The first and the second upper harmonic filters are respectively connected to the first and the second current-to-voltage converters. The amplifier is connected to the second upper harmonic filter. The first and the second rectifiers are respectively connected to the first upper harmonic filter and the amplifier. The comparison element inputs are connected to the first and the second rectifiers, and the output is connected to the output relay.
EFFECT: improvement of response time of protection from arcing faults in integrated switchgear cubicles.
