CHARGING SYSTEM FOR BATTERY MODULES Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC H02J7/02

Abstract RU 2559829 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particularly to accumulator chargers. According to this invention a charging system for battery modules comprises an energy transmission device including a primary winding designed to transmit alternating current energy; an energy receiving unit including a secondary winding designed to receive the alternating current energy transmitted from the primary winding by electromagnetic induction, at that the energy receiving unit is designed to convert the received energy of an alternating current into the energy of a direct current; a positioning mechanism designed to attach and detach the energy transmission device to/from the energy receiving unit and to position the primary and secondary windings so that they are interconnected in an electromagnetic way when the energy transmission device is attached to the energy receiving unit; and a selection circuit designed to charge on a selective basis a multitude of elements in the battery module by the energy of the direct current, at that the multitude of elements in the battery module is interconnected in series, moreover the multitude of elements is represented by accumulator batteries.

EFFECT: simplified charging system with the provided identical and stable charging of the battery elements.
