FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, particularly, to engine-driven actuating apparatuses. The technical result is achieved by the engine-driven actuating apparatus comprising a protective body wherein an engine, a control module and a drive are located. The drive is connected between the engine and the driven apparatus. The apparatus additionally comprises an input for receiving a renewable or captured energy power source and a battery pack located in said protective body. The battery unit is electrically connected to selectively drive the engine and the drive system and is electrically connectable to the renewable or captured energy power source for charging. The control module is configured to force the battery unit to selectively drive the engine and cause the actuating apparatus to move.
EFFECT: provided is active control over operation of the battery.
