FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: postoperative period involves computer-assisted tomography of the patient's mandible. On the formed image, mandibular tissues are mathematically resected in accordance with an extent of the planned operation, and an implant site is formed at the ends of the defects. Removed fragment parameters increased in volume taking into account post-agglomeration recession are applied on the produced defect in the mandible by computer-assisted transformation. A primary computer-assisted digital data processing is followed by transforming the computer model into 3D-format of CAD-system. An individual mandibular implant for replacing postoperative defects having sleeves with central passages shaped after the jaw, from 20 to 35 mm deep is milled of zirconium dioxide stabilised with yttrium dioxide. Parameters of the external surfaces of end sleeves are determined individually and are inclined to make the implant transiting smoothly into the mandibular fragments. The surgical resection of the mandible follows. The individual mandibular implant for replacing postoperative defects is fixed on adapted mandibular ends limiting the defect by inserting into the central passages so that the inclination of the external surfaces of the end sleeves transits smoothly into the mandibular fragments. The wound is closed. Rehabilitation measures are taken.
EFFECT: method enables repairing the mandibular discontinuities after resection with a bioinert structure having a shape similar to original one, increasing the implant manufacturing accuracy, and reducing the risk of rejection.
