SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry and can be used in area with insufficient atmosphere humidity upon massive forest planting of areas with heavy soils inaccessible or restrictedly accessible for the plant roots by the ground water. Method of creation of long-term forest cultures includes planting of main species and accompanying species, cleaning and cutting-back. In areas with insufficient atmosphere humidity upon massive forest planting of areas with heavy soils inaccessible or restrictedly accessible by the ground water the soil is treated as per system of long-term black fallow, the cultures are created by clean rows with narrow row spacing, and sides of rows of main species are alternated with sides of the accompanying species, and are arranged over the area uniformly.

EFFECT: method ensures accumulation of stock of soil moisture during main soil treatment, increased quality of mineral nutrition of plants of the mains species in youthful stage, decreasing of moisture consumption by underwood out of plants of the accompanying spoecies.
