FIELD: physics; clocks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of transmitting torque in a clock mechanism. A method of transmitting force in a clock mechanism with controlled reduced contact or contactless transmission, characterised by that it includes preparing or modifying at least one pair of opposite surfaces, referred to as interacting surfaces, of the same component or a pair of opposite components of a clock mechanism, wherein one of said surfaces actuates the other surface or rests on the other surface, using surface or volumetric processing of at least one of said opposite surfaces which form said pair in order to endow it with an electric charge property such that said surface repels the other opposite surface of said pair when approaching each other.
EFFECT: reduced friction and longer service life of the transmission mechanism.
