FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: glass-blank is placed on a heated mould, located on a vertically movable bottom, and heated to the temperature of glass softening. Dropping is carried out under the action of vacuum with the correction of the blank position relative to the mould. Correction is realised periodically in the process of dropping by a vacuum nozzle, which contacts with the upper surface of the blank, preliminarily heated in the interval from 350°C lower than the temperature of glass softening to the temperature, lower than the temperature of softening by the value of its thermal stability.
EFFECT: absence of cuts on the blank surface.
