SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flow meter check methods. An illustrative system includes a flow meter and a display device connected to the flow meter. The flow meter has a possibility of providing the information specifying the parameter of a fluid medium flow passing through the flow meter. The display device has a possibility of displaying the information. Displaying involves indication of a possible range of parameter values. Besides, indication of a basic part of the range is provided. The basic part of the range specifies preferable values of the parameter. In addition, displaying includes an indicator specifying the value of the parameter.
