FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a beverage preparation system including capsules with beverage ingredients having an identification element and a beverage preparation device intended for receiving the said capsules. According to the invention, the contact means contains a layer of a water-proof material positioned between the resilient support element and separate electrically conductive elements positioned on the plastic film having holes for passage of air.
EFFECT: beverage preparation device has a contact means for physical contacting with the capsule identification element for readout of information from it and a control means connected to the contact means and intended for control of operation of the beverage preparation device in attendance with the information read out.
