FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: system and method for producing and delivering gaseous CO₂ are described. The sealed chamber is equipped with a heating means, so that when the CO₂-carrying material, such as sodium bicarbonate, is placed in the chamber and heated to the decomposition temperature, gaseous CO₂ is released. The released gas is introduced into the liquid contained in the container. With increasing gas pressure in the container, an increasing amount of gaseous CO₂ dissolves in the liquid. The heating can be carried out using the thermal conductivity of a microwave heater or an induction mechanism. Sodium bicarbonate or any other material containing carbon dioxide can be used as a dry or wet powder, a solid, a suspension, an emulsion or a solution. This material can be placed in a thin shell.

EFFECT: possibility of increasing the shelf life of cartridges, reducing the probability of mechanical damage to the airtight zeolite package inside the cartridge.
