SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for generation of codes used in systems of long-term (LTE) and advanced long-term (LTE-A) evolution. A transmission method of a reference signal with a transmitter involves a stage of generation of a sequence for a reference signal (RS) of the first and the second units of resources, the first stage of enlargement of a spectrum for enlargement of spectra of elements of the sequence for RS, which are intended for displaying to the first frequency resource of the first unit of resources, by using the first group of codes, the second stage of enlargement of the spectrum for enlargement of spectra of elements in the sequence, which are intended for displaying to the second frequency resource of the first unit of resources, by using the second group of codes, the third stage of enlargement of the spectrum for enlargement of spectra of elements in the sequence, which are intended for displaying to the first frequency resource of the second unit of resources, by using the third group of codes, the fourth stage of enlargement of codes for enlargement of spectra of elements in the sequence, which are intended for displaying to the second frequency resource of the second unit of resources, by using the fourth group of codes, and a display unit. The first and the second groups of codes, as well as the third and the fourth groups of codes are mirror-like to each other relative to columns; and one of the third and the fourth groups of codes is shaped by means of a cyclic shift of a column vector for one of the first and the second groups.

EFFECT: improvement of RS randomisation, elimination of an RS transmission power imbalance problem and fulfilment of the requirement for orthogonality in two dimensions.
