SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile broadband communication equipment and can be used to receive a synchronization signal. Method of receiving a synchronization signal by a terminal comprises receiving a message including a synchronization signal unit indicator, indicating one or more groups of synchronization signal blocks, including at least one synchronization signal transmission unit from a plurality of synchronization signal group groups, grouped by a predetermined number of possible positions of a synchronization unit for a synchronization signal unit, which includes a primary synchronization signal, a secondary synchronization signal and a signal of a physical broadcast channel, and receiving at least one synchronization signal transmission unit based on the message.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of consumption of consumables.
