FIELD: communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication methods which implement improved synchronization and structure of a physical broadcast channel, specifically a synchronization signal (SS) unit/physical broadcast channel (PBCH). According to the SS/PBCH transmission method implemented by TRP, a primary synchronization signal (PSS) is generated on a first group of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols and generating a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) and demodulation reference signals (DMRS) on a second group of OFDM symbols. SS/PBCH containing PSS, PBCH and DMRS are transmitted over the downlink to enable the receiving side of said SS/PBCH to detect a physical cell identifier.

EFFECT: possibility of more flexible configuration of a communication network, more flexible configuration of a transmit-receive point (TRP) and UE, high reliability of a channel between TRP and UE.
