SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless mobile communication. A control method of time of change of a configuration mode is implemented in a mobile wireless communication device; with that, the wireless mobile communication device is connected to a wireless network. As per one version, the wireless mobile device is connected in the first configuration mode. The wireless mobile communication device receives a control message from a sub-system of the radio communication network in wireless network at local point of time of reception. The received control message includes indication of time, which specifies the beginning of the change of the configuration mode of the wireless mobile communication device; with that, the device extracts such an indication from the control message. The wireless mobile communication device performs reconfiguration to the second configuration mode differing from the first configuration mode based on the extracted indication of time and local moment of time of reception.

EFFECT: control of time of change of configuration between the wireless mobile communication device and the sub-system of the radio communication network, which considers transmission delays and values of time synchronisation counters.
