FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: composition can be used to lubricate internal combustion engines. The composition contains: at least one succinimide-based dispersant, a metal-containing detergent, at least one antioxidant, as well as a hydrocarbon-soluble titanium compound - derivative of titanium alkoxide with a C₆-C₂₅ carboxylic acid. Preferably, the titanium compound is a product of reaction of titanium alkoxide with neodecanoic acid. Described also is a lubricated surface, a method of reducing carbon deposits in an internal combustion engine and a lubricant additive concentrate.

EFFECT: reduced formation of carbon deposits.
