FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of methods of non-destructive testing and can be used to determine the qualitative state of filter-absorbing articles. According to the claimed method the test sample representing the sorbent plate and planar heater of the same shape and size are placed in a chamber in which it is required to regenerate the air stirred continuously by the fan. The temperatures of the sample surfaces and the heater are recorded continuously by means of a thermo visor and the heat transfer coefficient on the surface of the sorbent is determined experimentally. From the measured temperature of the sorbent surface and the heat transfer coefficient the type and the function parameters in time of power of heat sources operating in the sorbent during sorption are identified. At each time point the rate of sorption is determined as the ratio of capacity of heat sources to the total thermal effect of sorption and the current absorption of the sorbed component by integrating the rate of sorption in the time interval from the start of the experiment to its current moment.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of measurements and information content of measurements.
