FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of non-destructive methods of testing the qualitative state of absorbing sorbents and can be used to assess their residual sorption capacity when exposed to vapors of contaminants that are absorbed both on the basis of physical adsorption and chemisorption. Installation for non-destructive testing of absorbing sorbents, containing drying columns, rotameters, jibs, a mixer, a psychrometer, two-way stop cocks, a humidifying column, a vacuum pump, sampling cranes, a blank absorbent article, a working absorbent article located inside the thermostating chamber and a filter. It is equipped with a remote passive scanner and a heat reflecting element installed in the thermostating chamber behind the working absorbent article.
EFFECT: technical result is the ability to determine the residual sorption capacity and to reduce labor intensity, energy intensity, consumption of materials, time of determination of the registered characteristics of absorbing sorbents.
