FIELD: filter-absorbing products.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of non-destructive methods for controlling the quality condition of filter-absorbing products. A method for controlling the degree of exhaustion of the protective qualities of a bulk sorbent is claimed, which consists in forming standard and controlled samples of the sorbent in the form of a flat bulk layer. Experiments are carried out alternately with standard and controlled samples, in each of which the corresponding sample is placed between the heat sources. Heat is applied to the sample and at the same time the absorbed component is introduced into the sample. The temperatures of the sample surfaces brought into thermal contact with heat sources are recorded. The degree of exhaustion of the protective qualities of the sorbent is determined according to the formula of the method.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of controlling the degree of exhaustion of the protective qualities of the bulk layer of the sorbent by comparing the capacities of the sorption heat sources operating in the controlled and standard samples, respectively.
