FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for real-time control of gasoline octane number comprises a self-contained power supply unit, a main capacitive sensor, which is structurally integrated with the chamber of the sampler of the controlled gasoline, a data processing unit whose output is connected to the input of a digital display, an analogue-to-digital converter whose output is connected to the input of the data processing unit, wherein the device includes an additional capacitive sensor which is structurally integrated with the chamber of the sampler of the reference gasoline, which is connected with one of the inputs of a device for measuring the difference of the two capacitances, the second input of which is connected to the main capacitive sensor, and the output is connected to the input of the analogue-to-digital converter.
EFFECT: high reliability of real-time gasoline quality control and sensitivity to dielectric properties of fuel.
