SUBSTANCE: using to determine the octane number and the content of impurities in gasoline using ultrasonic diagnostics. summary of the Invention thing is place the measuring cell in the test liquid, generate a sequence of signals from the controller to the amplifier and the piezoelectric element through the switch, transform the input electrical signal into a longitudinal acoustic wave that is reflected by the reflector, detect a piezoelectric element reflected from the reflector acoustic wave and convert it into an electrical signal, transmit the received electrical signal through the switch to the amplifier, and then to the analog-digital converter of the controller, write the received signal into memory, process the received signal by the controller and determine the speed and ultrasonic absorption coefficient, measure the temperature of the fuel under test, compare the obtained data with the stored in the controller memory values of the velocity and the ultrasonic absorption coefficient for the reference samples at a known temperature, determine the octane number of the gasoline being examined, display it on the display and store the analysis data in memory.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of estimating the value of the octane number of the tested gasoline, as well as the content of impurities in it.
