FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: suppurative focus is surgically treated with a hydrosurgical scalpel. The postoperative period involves systemic, antibacterial, detoxification therapy, correction of metabolic disorders and somatic disease, local wound healing with polyethylene glycol-based ointments. After the wound process has been merged into a reparative phase, a plastic foot repair follows: the wound is excised; an involved segment of the foot skeleton is approached through the wound; a bone conglomerate mass is separated from surrounding scar tissues and excised peripherally; the plantar surface skeleton is anatomically re-shaped, and a soft tissue bulk is re-created above the excised skeleton area.
EFFECT: method enables reducing a risk of high amputations.
