FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to perform a racket-shaped incision at the bottom of a toe under amputation by continuing this incision onto rear surface of foot in projection of metatarsal bone. One should carry out the resection of two thirds of its length as a single block with a toe, medullary canal of metatarsal stump should be widened for the depth of 0.5 cm. Out of a plate consisting of hydroxyapatite, collagen and antibiotic one should cut a strip its width being equal to trimming diameter (D) and length being equal to D×2+1 cm, fold it in the form of letter T to be introduced into the stump so that this plate should overlap the trimming.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
