FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method for dosing from hopper scales involves weight measurement of material in the hopper installed on supporting strain gauges connected to a measuring device, output of material from the hopper through a sliding gate. With that, the gate rotation axis is offset relative to the curvature axis of the outlet opening by a design value. The turning angle of the gate is measured by means of an encoder and transmitted to the control unit, and outflow as to material reduction in the hopper is measured. When the outflow does not correspond to the specified one, the gate turning angle is corrected.

EFFECT: improvement of hopper material removal control.
