FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: scales include a hopper installed on three support strain gauges connected to a measuring device, a calibration device with a reference load; a removable shell serving as the reference load is fixed on an upper rim of the hopper by means of hinges; chains are attached to the above shell, which are uniformly located along inner surface of the hopper, and the calibration device is installed under the shell. The removable shell fixed on hinges on upper rim of the hopper and serving as a reference load, and the calibration device installed under the shell allow improving serviceability of hopper scales and simplifying their calibration. Availability of chains fixed on the shell and uniformly located along inner surface of the hopper allows simplifying the removal process of loose goods residues from the hopper, which simplifies the device operation and makes it more convenient.

EFFECT: improving scaling accuracy, serviceability and calibration simplicity.
