FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes settling with layering of wastes into a layer of organic impurities and a fluorine-containing aqueous salt solution. The organic impurities are neutralised by plasma-thermal treatment at 1100-1200°C using superheated steam as the plasma-supporting gas. The aqueous salt solution with potassium fluoride is treated with alabaster of formula CaSO4×0.5H2O to obtain a potassium fluoride suspension in potassium sulphate solution. The suspension, with addition of cement, is used in making structural articles.
EFFECT: invention enables to process fluorine-containing toxic wastes into a low-toxic product.
